Welcome to PLANORAMA

Planorama is our very own magazine, established to provide a platform for the queer voices of the University of Warwick. We cover both university and current affairs issues in our print magazines and online stand alone articles, as well as celebrating the achievements of those on campus, including reviews of the wonderful array of student shows available at Warwick.

We print 3 issues every year, with our online articles posted regularly on our social media pages and this website. We are always looking out for new writers and editors (experienced or not), and we would love to hear from you if you’d like to contribute to our magazine.

PLAN-NING AHEAD PODCAST

PLAN-ning Ahead, is the podcast series of Warwick PLAN. We explore themes of being LGBTQ+ in the workplace, how to 'get ahead' in corporate industries and advice and experience from professional LGBTQ+ employees from some of the UK's leading firms.

In this episode, we talked to CEO and Founder of Career Accelerator, Mayur Gupta. We discussed the work that his company does in order to support young people entering the corporate world, as well as his own journey as an entrepreneur at school, university and beyond. This episode tackles some of the stereotypes and assumptions around the modern-day style of 'entrepreneur' and ‘hussler' as well as the personal challenges Mayur has faced throughout his career so far.

Erin Lewis (they/them): Deputy Editor

I got involved in Planorama because I’ve had a long interest in journalism and writing and wanted to get more involved in it at Warwick whilst also writing about queer stuff.

Will Wroe (he/him): Design Editor

I’m eager to see the fresh direction we can take the magazine. The opportunity to meld captivating designs with powerful stories that resonate with our community should prove a valuable experience for both myself and in making a difference towards LGBTQ+ awareness as a whole.
